Hand in Hand India and Socio Economic and Education Development Trust (SEED) are two trusts that share the same vision and mission. From an operational point of view, it is one organisation that focuses on implementing an Integrated Community Development Project for poverty reduction.
The Self-Help Group & Microfinance, Child Labour Elimination Programme, Village Uplift Programme and Natural Resources Management interventions come under Hand in Hand India Trust.
The Solid Waste Management, Skills Development and Technology Centre, and Health interventions come under SEED Trust.
Both SEED Trust and Hand in Hand India have permanent registration numbers under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), allowing us to receive funds from outside of India. Contributions are exempt from tax under Section 80 (G) of the Income Tax Act.
